Muslim Aid Indonesia
will work as the implementer of the Economic Development Financing Facility
(EDFF) of the Multi-Donor Fund and will work closely with Project Management Unit
(PMU) & Project Management Consultant (PMC) of the Government.  We intend to provide Smallholder Capacity
Building for Improved Livestock Production & Enhanced Market Access.   Muslim Aid-Indonesia Field Office would like
to recruit the following positions who are
willing to be located at Bireuen district.

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER (Based in Banda
Aceh with frequent visit to field project)

He/she will work
closely with all stakeholders to the project; Oversee project
implementation during the whole project duration; Carry out consultation with
Project Manager and report to PMU/PMC in a regular basis; Draft and update annual
and quarterly project work plans in close consultation with Project Manager;
To ensure accurate and efficient budget management and project delivery under
the supervision of the Project Manager.

Qualifications
and Experiences:
University/ masters
degree or equivalent in management,  social
science, international development planning, or related field; Experience in
successfully developing and managing  programmes
funded by institutional donors; Proven program appraisal, development, and
monitoring and impact assessment skills; Proven experience of drafting and
writing project concept notes or proposals; Work experience in multi cultural
environments; Have excellent English reading, speaking and writing skill, Acehnese
speaking and reading would be an asset; Strong coordination and negotiation
skills with stakeholders; Ability to work with a team in a multi-cultural
environment and good team leadership and positive approach to problem
solving; Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and adapt  to change; Commitment to equality of

LIVESTOCK EXPERT (Based in Banda Aceh with
frequent visit to field project )

He/she will be
responsible to Country Director and will work closely with Project Manager.  The Technical Expert will provide all technical
advice and supports in the field of livestock management and development, he
will also suggest for animal health as and when necessary. He/she will work
based on Part-Time consultancy
job.

Qualifications
and Experiences:
The Technical Expert
is required to have post-graduate qualifications in the field of animal
husbandry or animal health, and several years of practical field experience
supporting livestock raising particularly in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam
province; Ability to work with a team in a multi-cultural environment; Have
good English reading, speaking and writing, Acehnese speaking and reading
would be an asset.

PROJECT COORDINATOR (Based in Bireuen)

The
Project Coordinator has full responsibility for the daily/weekly
implementation and management of the Bireuen Livestock Project. He/she
manages a team/staff in the project area & manage all aspects of
implementation within Bireuen district of the EDFF project according to
agreed project design and contract; Liaison and collaborate with Dinas
Peternakan – Bireuen and kecamatan-level services.
Qualifications
and Experiences:
Minimum  4 years experience in management of
development projects at field level; Proven ability to manage both technical
and support staff in a harmonious and productive manner; Direct experience in
the field of rural livelihoods and community economic development; specific
experience or qualification in the area of livestock raising or animal health
is a distinct advantage; Experience of collaborative working with local
government services and community level; Good report writing skills, at a
minimum in Bahasa Indonesia, preferably also in English; Good leadership and
team spirits; Positive approach to problem solving; Ability to work
under pressure to tight deadlines and adapt
to change;
LIVESTOCK PROJECT OFFICER (2 PERSON)
Based in Bireuen

The
Livestock Project Officer will support Project Coordinator to ensure effective implementation of EDFF project
by coordinating with local government, Dinas Peternakan –
Bireuen and kecamatan-level services and
beneficiaries; Maintain and conduct
needs assessment and finalizing the target villages and beneficiaries; Ensure the effective frequent field visit; Prepare
weekly reports and send it to the Project Coordinator;
Qualifications and Experiences:
Minimum3 years
experience in social work or relevant field; livestock background is
preferable; Direct experience in the field of rural livelihoods and community
economic development; specific experience or qualification in the area of
livestock raising or animal health is a distinct advantage; Experience of
working with local government services and community level; Good report
writing skills, at a minimum in Bahasa Indonesia; Ability to work under
pressure to tight deadlines and adapt
to change;
Ability
to work on own initiative.

PROJECT ASSISTANT (2 PERSON)
Based in Bireuen

The Project Assistant will assist in conducting
needs assessments and carry out project activities; Assist Project Officer in ensuring project outputs and
targets are delivered satisfactorily; Ensuring
proper documentation, filing and recording; Prepare and summarize all
activities undertaken in the given reporting format.

Qualifications
and Experiences:
Minimum 2
years experience in social work, livestock background is preferable; Direct
experience in the field of rural livelihoods and community economic
development; specific experience or qualification in the area of livestock
raising or animal health is a distinct advantage; Experience of collaborative
work with local government services and community level; Ability to work
under pressure to tight deadlines and adapt
to change; Ability to work on own initiative.

MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER
(Based in Bireuen)

He/she
will closely with Project Manager in designing and implementing the
monitoring and evaluation strategy for the EDFF project of Muslim Aid; Developing of monitoring log-frames/result frameworks
(expected outcomes, outputs, indicators, baseline data, performance targets,
lessons learned,etc); Providing support to EDFF
project teams in checking, verifying accuracy and competence of reported
information and complying with the quality requirements of the donor
agency; He/she will be responsible to Director of Support Services.

Qualifications
and Experiences:
University degree or
its equivalent in Economic, social science, international development
planning, or related field; Proven programme appraisal, development, and
monitoring & impact assessment skills; Proven experience of drafting and
writing project monitoring documents; Have good English reading, writing and
speaking ability, Acehnese speaking and reading would be an asset; A focus on
results, balanced with a sensitive and honest approach to people.

PROCUREMENT OFFICER (Based in Banda Aceh
with frequent visit to field project)

He/she will work
closely with Project Manager in leading the
procedures to support the implementation of the Muslim Aid procurement
policy, ensuring that social, economic and environmental concerns are appropriately
integrated into tenders, negotiation and competitive quotations and contracts
as appreciate; Ensure that the goods are procured according to MAI policies
and project requirement and distribution of materials to the appropriate
sites in timely manner; He/she will be responsible to Director of Support
Services.

Qualifications
and Experiences:
University degree in
Logistics, Business Management or related field; At least 3 years of prior
professional experience related to procurement/logistics; Operating knowledge
of Microsoft Office software; Fluency in English spoken and written; Highly
responsible, reliable, honest and punctual; Good negotiation skills.

FINANCE OFFICER (Based in Bireuen)

He/she will support EDFF Project  to maintain EDFF project expenses within
approved budget and compliance with agreement signed by both of Grantee &
Grantor; Ensure the correct coding for all financial transactions and budget
and maintain grant folder; Ensure the monthly bill and any other payment is
being settled before the due date; Finance Officer shall be responsible to
MAI Finance Manager and close working with finance team in main office and
follow finance role &guidelines; Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and
financial projections as per needed of the project and identify positive
issues and solutions.

Qualification and
Experiences:
Bachelor Degree in
Finance, Accounting,  minimum 3 years
experience in a finance role ; Computer skill with experience of accounting
packages, spreadsheets and databases; Good analytical skills; interpersonal
skills;  proven record of designing and
implementing accounting software programs e.g. FUND EZ System/ Quick book;
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and adapt to change.
Ability to write and
speak in English and speak in Acehnese is an advantage; Bahasa Indonesia must
be fluent; High level of honesty and commitment.

ADMIN OFFICER (Based in Bireuen)

He/she will make plans
and organizes clerical support activities; To maintain the procedures and
practices with effectiveness and efficiency; To ensure  accurate records and that all-relevant
information is promptly entered on file and the admin database; Responsible
for any necessary correspondence, filing or archiving of all documents
including proposals which may be submitted to Muslim Aid.

Qualifications and Experiences:
Educated to
administration degree level or equivalent; Minimum 2 years experience in
working at admin area; Excellent communication, negotiating and presentation
skills; Familiar to operate MS Office; Ability to work under pressure to
tight deadlines and adapt to change; Ability to work on own initiative.

SUPPORT STAFF
(Based in Bireuen)
(DRIVER, CLEANER & SECURITY GUARD)

The support staff will
work  under guidance of Admin Officer.  He/she will support all activities of EDFF
project according to role and responsibility, which relevant to their tasks.

Qualifications
and Experiences:
He/she has
experience in working with INGO; have a valid driving licence (driver);
Flexibility and willingness to work long hours; hard working; Ability to communicate
in Bahasa effectively with all.
