Title:                            Health & Nutrition Specialist (IMIS 17513)
Level:                           NO-D (National Professional Category)
Type of Contract:         Fixed-Term
Duty Station:                Jakarta
Contract Duration:       2 (two) years

SUMMARY OF THE POST:

This position will be responsible for providing technical support to Field Offices as and when required; Support the Chief of Programme in pursuing national policy agenda and in providing managerial assistance in the overall implementation of the Health and Nutrition programme, including coordination with BAPPENAS; Liaise with other technical agencies (WHO, World Bank ADB, USAID and AUSAID etc.) for the purpose of advocating/advising the Ministry of Health in its policy formulation; Liaise with other UN agencies (UNDP, WFP, UNFPA) for the purpose of advocating Joint Programming with special emphasis on Health and Nutrition; Liaise with other programmes to identify opportunities for coordination and programme strengthening.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

·         Advanced university degree in Health Sciences or related disciplines.

·         At least has 8 (eight) years of relevant professional work experience.

·         Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

·         Demonstrate the requisite aptitudes and experience for developing, managing, monitoring and evaluating health programmes; Technical understanding of health projects including knowledge of latest developments and technology; Current knowledge of development issues, policies as well as social programming policies and procedures in international development cooperation; In-depth understanding of Indonesia decentralization policy/process required.

Title:                            Finance / Accounts Specialist (IMIS 21489)
Level:                           NO-C (National Professional Category)
Type of Contract:         Fixed-Term
Duty Station:                Jakarta
Contract Duration:       2 (two) years

SUMMARY OF THE POST:

This position will be responsible forcoordination of work for the works of Finance and Accounts Unit. Ensure systematic planning, monitoring and evaluation as well as provide regular feedback analysis on utilization of country programme funds, management of cash and outstanding of Direct cash transfer. Ensure the appropriate disbursement of funds and payment in accordance to Finance rules and regulations and accounting instruction, programme operations guidelines, establish budgetary limit and cost effectiveness and efficiency.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

·         Advanced university degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

·         At least has 5 (five) years of progressive responsible experience in Accounting, Finance or Business Adminitstration, monitoring and evaluation.

·         Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

·         Good judgment, initiative, high sense of responsibility, organizational and analytical skills.

Title:                            Operations Assistant (IMIS 1380)
Level:                           GS-4 (General Service Category)
Type of Contract:         Fixed-Term
Duty Station:                Jakarta
Contract Duration:       2 (two) years

SUMMARY OF THE POST:

This position will be responsible forcoordination of work for the various units of the Operations; to provide administrative support for all Operations related matters of UNICEF Jakarta and Field Offices, also responsible for the management of information and coordination of matters within the Operations Section. This position will  prioritize tasks and organizes work based on general direction from the supervisor, Chief of Operations.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

·         Completion of College Education with Possession of Diploma in Business Administration / Management. Skills in the operation of electronic data / word processing equipment – computer knowledge or any accounting are required.

·         At least has 4 (four) years of office support work experience, including organizing the whole range of office support and administrative activities / or in general administrative or office management work. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to extract and format data and to solve operational problems. Ability to organize own and others work, set priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to organize meetings and events. Ability to handle work quickly and accurately under time constraints.

·         Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

·         Good analytical,  typing skills as well as computer literacy and the ability to effectively use standard office software tools, accounting and any database maintenance and other office technology to create documentation, exchange and archive e-mail, and maintain electronic filing systems.

·         Good knowledge on data analysis, formulation and management, records filing and maintenance is required.

Title:                            Driver (4 positions : IDS10014 – IDS10017)

Duty Station:                Banda Aceh
Contract Duration:       2 (two) years

SUMMARY OF THE POST:

This position is to support implementation and monitoring of UNICEF Programmes by providing transportation assistance to UNICEF Banda Aceh office.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

·         A minimum of primary education certificate; has driver’s license and knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair.

·         At least has 2 – 3 (two to three) years of working experience as a driver and has safe driving record

·         Demonstrates at all times, road and personal etiquette and courtesy. Is vigilant and observant of all road users and maintains UNICEF/UN Code of Conduct according to International Civil Servant guidelines.

·         Conduct him/herself with professional etiquette; Maintains self-control and exhibits a stable and reliable personal character at all times; Gets along well with other team members and helps others to exceed service and goals.

·         Good knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia and knowledge of English is desirable.

Title:                            Supply & Logistics Officer
Level:                           NO-B (National Professional Category)
Type of Contract:         Temporary Appointment
Duty Station:                Jakarta
Contract Duration:       until 31 December 2010

SUMMARY OF THE POST:

This position will be responsible for logistics/supply planning through coordination with Operations/Programme Sections.  Also to provide technical advice on specifications supply and logistics arrangements facilitating efficient procurement, clearance, storage and distribution of supplies and equipment, in support of the country programme implementation.

Profile of the ideal candidate:

·         University degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.

·         At least has 2 – 3 (two to three) years of professional work experience in supply / logistics management.

·         Fluency (oral and written) in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.

·         Good judgment, initiative, high sense of responsibility, organizational and analytical and negotiating skills; Good knowledge of EDP applications.

Hmmm...people said that i've vicious/anger face but if u know me, i'm type of friendly person,lil bit crazy and sensitive person..that's me...I like everything about technology coz my educational background is in IT...hmm...actually i like listening music, watching movies, browsing internet, make some comment @friend's facebook status also wrote some unsignificant words, but for me it's quite interesting. Others i like to breath, laugh and smile...whatever u are, if u want to know me..just call me ratih...ok (^_')
